My name is Eliza, I been a member of the St. Eugene Hope For The Future Foundation for the past 13 years. I like it because it gives me the feeling that I belong to a community of like minded people dealing with similar issues related to disability. This foundation is unique because it is mainly made of children and families that are of Polish-Canadian descent, while being open and welcoming to disabled individuals in need from all cultures. Through the foundations fundraising efforts, I was able to access founding for services and equipment which enhanced daily living; the foundation also offers families a unique opportunity to attend programs and outing tailored to the needs of there children.

Being apart of the St. Eugene Hope for the Future foundation has benefitted me in more ways than one.

It has allowed me to join a local physio therapy clinic. It has also helped me financially to where I’ve been able to purchase my own exercise equipment for private use. I also enjoy going to the annual charity banquet where I meet new people.                                                                      Marcin
